Lead the growth of the business and our desired Member and Advisor experience through coaching centered on effective practice management. This includes, but is not limited to, Holistic Wealth Planning, Effective Member Relationship Management, Revenue optimization and Portfolio Management. Reporting to the Director, Member Experience and Advice, this role will be focused on equipping the Wealth Advisory team with the knowledge, practices, tools and training to fulfill our promise to improve lives and strengthen communities. Direct reporting responsibility for Wealth Advisors.
Differentiating Accountabilities (Duties may vary by branch location and size):
  • Lead and coach Wealth Team Advisors to ensure progress towards goals, efficiency, appropriate work standards are met, and conduct performance reviews.
  • Connect the Wealth business vision and its key business outcomes to the Member and the advisory experience.
  • Define and manage practice standards as they relate to wealth planning including the input, analysis and usage of planning tools to support the provision of advice Practice Coaching & Training.
  • Proactively collaborate with the Director, Member Experience and Advice to develop and leverage reporting and analytics to advise on practice management efficiencies including but not limited to, book optimization strategies, business and capacity planning, product selection and service segmentation strategies.
  • Deliver training one-on-one and for large group audiences while also recognizing opportunities to coordinate existing training opportunities available through vendors/partners, industry groups, etc.
  • Stay attuned to regulatory changes, dealer policy changes and industry developments and their impacts to the wealth management process, strategic priorities as well as our Member and advisor experience.
  • Perform sales functions by supporting and forming meaningful relationships with high value/asset members and providing sound advice and financial planning expertise as appropriate.
  • Identify opportunities for new training, job aids, and resources that will help enhance the quality of advice and advisory efficiency.
  • Maintain strong compliance and operational excellence
  • Attend and participate in meetings as required.
  • Act as an ambassador of PenFinancial by looking for opportunities to promote products and services and seek referrals from members and non-members.
  • Perform other assigned responsibilities.
Qualifications
  • Proven track record and success with 7-9 years progressive experience in Wealth with Advisory and Sales Leadership experience or equivalent.
  • Disciplined sales management experience with a track record for success and strong advisor engagement.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment.
  • Growth focused while always putting the member\xe2\x80\x99s best interest first.
  • Thorough understanding of sales and planning processes and planning software (i.e. NaviPlan).
  • Understanding of the Wealth management landscape including regulatory environment and procedures.
  • Ability to make an impact through collaboration and influence.
  • Strong business writing skills alongside exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • The role will require travel across the PenFinancial branch network.
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree or a diploma requiring 3 to 4 years full-time study, or equivalent
  • Securities (IROC) or MFDA Licensed
  • Branch Compliance Manager Designation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Organization and time management skills
  • PFP or CFP designation is required; Continually meet educational requirements to maintain designation
