Role Purpose
As a Business Partner, People & Culture (P&C) Manager, you will play a pivotal role in aligning people strategies with business objectives across Canadian Supply Chain and Distribution. You will partner closely with senior leaders to drive people high performance culture and lead change. This role combines strategic business partnering with hands-on HR leadership, supporting the full employee lifecycle and contributing to long-term organizational success.
Through its Vanfax banner, the Supply Chain and Distribution operate Canada's largest vehicle glass distribution company, with nearly 300 employees, 2 distribution centres, and 26 warehouses coast to coast.
This role is designed for a seasoned professional manager who can balance day-to-day P&C operations with long-term strategic planning, ensuring talent initiatives generate tangible outcomes and align with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business PartneringPartner with Distribution and Supply Chain leadership to develop and implement People Plans aligned with the 5-year business strategy. Act as a trusted advisor and coach to senior leaders, supporting them in all people-related matters. Support organizational design and change management initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness, by leading all people related changes. Drive leadership development and succession planning to build future-ready teams. Champion a high-performance culture through continuous capability building and leadership coaching. Partners with the retail P&C business partner director in people operation alignment, prioritization and communication.

Employee Relations & ComplianceProvide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution. Lead and conduct workplace investigations, ensuring compliance with internal policies and employment legislation. Support disability management cases and return-to-work planning in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Talent & Culture InitiativesAs a member of the Management team leadership (MLT) community, you will lead initiatives within the annual initiative scope that vary year to year. Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to support strategic hiring and workforce planning. Support the execution of the annual employee engagement survey and develop action plans based on results. Partner with internal teams to develop internal communication strategies that support business transformation. Contribute to the design and implementation of reward and recognition programs in collaboration with the Reward team.

Operational ExcellencePrepare and manage employee cycle documentation.

Key RelationshipsSupply chain and distribution Directors and Senior Leaders People & Culture Centers of Excellence (Talent, Reward, Communications & HSWE) P&C Business partners working in the retail operations External partners (e.g., recruiters, benefits providers) Internal stakeholders across Canada

Qualifications & Experience
Required:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field. CHRP designation. A minimum of 10-15 years of HR experience in a multi-unit, fast-paced environment. Proven experience in business partnering, organizational change, and employee relations. Strong knowledge of Canadian employment law and HR best practices. Experience in global or matrixed organizations. Exposure to transformation programs and operating model redesign. Experience working with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
