Global Gourmet Foods is a division of Premium Brands Holdings Corporation (TSX: PBH) which owns a broad range of leading specialty food manufacturing and differentiated food distribution businesses with operations. Global Gourmet Foods is a federally registered food manufacturer who supplies premium kettle products to key accounts in both domestic and export markets.

Job Summary



We are seeking a hands-on, systems-oriented Manager, Operations & Continuous Improvement, to lead the daily execution of our food manufacturing operations while driving strategic process enhancements across production and warehouse functions.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role is pivotal in delivering consistent production performance, enhancing efficiency, and championing a culture of continuous improvement.

This role is ideal for a motivated leader ready to roll up their sleeves, bring operational discipline, and elevate how we produce, move, and improve.

Key Responsibilities



Operational Leadership

Oversee daily plant operations including production, packaging, and warehouse Monitor performance metrics and ensure targets are met Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce waste and improve efficiency Support and coach supervisors, leads, and frontline staff Monitor compliance with GMP, HACCP, CFIA, and safety standards
Continuous Improvement

Lead and facilitate improvement projects Implement and maintain lean manufacturing practices Develop, maintain and refine SOPs and workflow documentation Use data and feedback to drive process improvements
Warehouse & Materials Support

Coordinate ingredient staging, inventory, and shipments Coordinate material flow and ensure alignment and timely material flow from receiving to production Collaborate with supply chain and inventory teams
Leadership & Culture

Promote a culture of ownership, accountability, safety, and ongoing improvement Ensure safety and compliance with regulations Participate in huddles, leadership meetings, and reviews

Qualifications



Minimum 5 years of experience in food manufacturing or similar industry Strong understanding of production systems and in lean manufacturing and performance metrics Experience in managing teams and cross-functional coordination Proven leadership and coaching ability Excellent problem-solving and communication skills HACCP experience preferred Six Sigma Green/Black Belt considered an asset
