Our growing Canadian owned collection agency is seeking an experienced Manager of Support Services to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of our support services department, which includes Client services, account management, and collections support. Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Develop and implement strategies to ensure the effective delivery of support services to Clients; \xc2\xb7 Develop, manage and mentor a team of client account managers and collections support staff; \xc2\xb7 Provide leadership in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to support services; \xc2\xb7 Maintain regular communication with Clients and attend Client performance and compliance meetings; \xc2\xb7 Participate in corporate audit and certification processes; \xc2\xb7 Develop and monitor key performance metrics to ensure the department is meeting or exceeding targets; \xc2\xb7 Work closely with other department heads to ensure seamless communication and collaboration across the organization; \xc2\xb7 Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback on areas of strength as well as opportunity to team members; \xc2\xb7 Develop and manage departmental budgets. Requirements: \xc2\xb7 5+ years of experience in support services or client account management; \xc2\xb7 Thorough understanding of the collections and customer service industries; \xc2\xb7 Established leadership and management skills with a proven track record of effectively managing a team with multiple priorities; \xc2\xb7 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with Clients and colleagues at all levels; \xc2\xb7 Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; \xc2\xb7 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of collections industry regulations and best practices is an asset; We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for career growth and development.
