As The Manager of Supply Chain Consulting, you will play a pivotal role in shaping client success. You will be an effective facilitator who delivers high quality results and brings excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills to every engagement.




Location: Montreal Office



Hybrid: 3 Days Minimum in Person per Week






Responsibilities:



Lead supply chain planning projects with your knowledge of warehousing, logistics, transportation, manufacturing, relevant software systems and analytics. Serve as the liaison between the Avalon team and client ensuring communication between all parties remains open. Manage data migration, system integration and functional customizations within supply chain systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives/ goals and seamless end to end operations. Develop and maintain detailed project plans which align with effective supply chain methodologies, and client goals. Leverage supply chain expertise and available resources to optimize processes, overcome challenges, and ensure deliverables are achieved on time and with measurable impact. Provide clear and concise status updates on project progress, highlighting potential risks or disruptions and support the leadership team in developing strategies to keep initiatives on track. Facilitate meetings, design workshops, testing activities, and post go live support, keeping a detailed focus on quality. Ensure that the project follows best practice methodologies, governance frameworks, while delivering high-quality, and value-driven outcomes for clients. Maintain and expand a professional network, while identifying new business and partnership opportunities which will actively contribute to Avalon's business development and sales initiatives. Continuously enhance professional development through training, certification, and knowledge sharing to support both personal growth and client success. Drive project success, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time, and on budget, resulting in high customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in operations management, Logistics, Business Analysis, Engineering or other related fields. Minimum 8 years of direct experience in supply chain consulting and/or supply chain planning. Advance knowledge of structured project management methodology and practices - PMP certification preferred Experience supporting supply chain technologies such as WMS/TMS/ERP is considered an asset. Extensive analytical, problem solving, and project management abilities shown through practical experiences in the field. Functional expertise in material handling, warehouse management, cost optimization, and operations improvement within supply chain environment. Professionalism, and enthusiasm. Proven ability to plan, manage and monitor multiple projects simultaneously Complete oral and written fluency in French and English. Flexibility and ability to travel throughout North America to meet client needs. Strong preference of candidates with experience with Smartsheet or other project management system.
