Experienced at implement automation processes while maintaining internal controls.

Experienced at overseeing daily tasks of

centralized Accounts Payable/Receivable (vendor/customer payments).



Excellent track record at focusing on

continuous process improvement (AP/AR).



Familiar at focusing on working capital management projects.

Familiar with

provincial and federal sales tax filings.



Experienced at assisting in

various financial audits and preparation for year-end.

The Corporate Finance Team has an opening for a Manager of Shared Services who will take a leadership role in managing the successful completion of centralized Accounts Payable/Receivable tasks. The Manager of Shared Services will be responsible for a team of 10 - 12 staff, reporting to the Corporate Controller, with a focus on continuous process improvement and working capital management.

Duties/Responsibilities:



Direct management of a centralized team while working with all business locations to complete tasks to tight deadlines, AR & AP Close Assist in managing working capital through successful management of Customer and Vendor accounts via compliance within set payment terms and identifying opportunities for improvement Implement best practices to improve process efficiency, effectiveness and automation Manage centralized vendor & customer payments, including manual one-off EFT/Wire payments in banking software Daily, weekly, periodic bank downloads Manage Credit/Fuel Cards & timely payments Manage various provincial and federal sales tax filings Assist in various audits, and in the preparation of year end working papers Implement best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness Maintain Internal controls and ensure segregation of duties Other duties as required

Qualifications and Key Competencies:



University degree with a focus in Business/Management

10 years experience in a related field

Attention to detail and accuracy, with ability to meet deadlines.

Self-starter, with proven time-management skills

Continuous improvement mindset a must

Outstanding problem-solving skills

SAP experience an asset.

Superior skills in the use of Microsoft applications, in particular Excel

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organization skills

Strong understanding of internal controls and risk management
