The Manager of Partnerships (Dedicated to a U.S.-based client) will support one of our key clients, located in the United States. In this role, you will act as the primary liaison between the client and our internal teams, ensuring a seamless, high-quality logistics experience across the Canada-U.S. border.
This position requires a strong understanding of cross-border transportation operations, including regulatory requirements, customs procedures, and best practices for managing shipments between Canada and the U.S. The ideal candidate will be highly relationship-oriented, solution-focused, and capable of managing both day-to-day operations and long-term strategic growth for this account. The Manager of Partnerships will develop long-term working relationships with customers and liaise between the customer and operations to identify how we can meet their needs.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Cultivate and grow existing client relationships with a proactive, hands-on approach
Prospect new business opportunities and develop contracts aligned with company strategy
Communicate effectively across departments to ensure client needs are met
Monitor client performance, identify risks, and take action to maintain satisfaction
Coordinate with the Credit department to maintain account health
Stay ahead of client changes and market shifts to maintain a competitive edge
Qualifications:
2-3 years of sales experience in the transportation or logistics industry
Proven ability to sell LTL and FTL services, including
cross-border transport solutions
Working knowledge of NMFC (National Motor Freight Classification) systems is preferred
Understanding of pricing models including class and discount structures
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently with minimal oversight
