, we've been proudly delivering premium Okanagan fruit since 1982. With continued growth in our fresh produce, juice, and delivery operations, we're seeking a

hands-on, solution-driven Operations Manager

to lead and coordinate all aspects of our day-to-day business. This is a dynamic leadership role covering production, dispatch, team supervision, supplier/customer relationships, and juice business development.

You'll work directly with our owners and leadership team to ensure our warehouse runs efficiently, our staff are supported, and our products meet Ralph's long-standing quality standards. Whether overseeing fruit packing, managing logistics, or working with partners and staff, you'll play a key role in strengthening and growing our business.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Production Operations

Oversee day-to-day activities on the produce packing floor and production line

Lead and develop a team of 10+ packing associates in the production and grading facility

Actively identify weak points or bottlenecks and implement practical solutions to improve operations and efficiency

Streamline team workflows to boost productivity and minimize downtime

Maintain strong working knowledge of produce handling and quality control

Take initiative to ensure the floor operates smoothly with minimal oversight

Enforce safety standards and G.A.P. compliance; ensure clean, organized workspaces

Operate a forklift safely and efficiently to support warehouse movement and organization

Logistics & Dispatch

Oversee Order Picking and Shipping of Goods

Coordinate daily delivery schedules for 2+ drivers and optimize route efficiency

Track outbound inventory and ensure accurate documentation and timely dispatch

Communicate with wholesale customers regarding delivery timelines and service updates

Maintain delivery vehicle compliance records and respond quickly to real-time delivery issues

Work closely with the warehouse to prioritize outgoing orders and prevent delays

Team Development & Leadership

Positively lead and mentor your team: motivate, train, correct as needed, and build others up

Encourage accountability, pride in work, and a respectful workplace culture

Proactively onboard new hires and support internal promotions (e.g., Production Supervisors)

Stay calm under pressure and maintain team morale during busy or stressful periods

Be flexible with early morning start times and seasonal schedule changes

Qualifications

3+ years in food production, produce packing, logistics, or warehouse operations

Proven management and supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment

Produce and agriculture experience

Strong forklift skills and warehouse safety knowledge

Experience working with suppliers and wholesale/retail customers

In-depth knowledge of produce handling, food safety, and production lines

Self-starter who takes initiative and works well independently

Strong problem-solver who can identify inefficiencies and create lasting solutions

Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills

Works well under pressure and leads by example in challenging situations
