Job Description

We're seeking a forward-thinking Manager of Finance & Accounting (MFA) to lead our finance team and play a critical role in shaping the company's financial future. This senior-level position offers the opportunity to oversee day-to-day financial operations while actively contributing to long-term strategy, growth planning, and performance measurement.

As MFA, you'll be more than a numbers expert -- you'll be a trusted advisor to the leadership team, helping to drive informed decision-making, strengthen systems and controls, and support innovation and efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:



Financial Leadership & Oversight

Lead and mentor the accounting team, building a culture of collaboration and growth. Manage financial operations: accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, payroll, tax compliance, and financial reporting. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow to ensure strong financial health and growth readiness. Partner with external accountants, auditors, and tax authorities to maintain compliance and optimize corporate structures.
Strategic Planning & Reporting

Deliver timely, accurate, and insightful monthly financial and management reports. Support the development of annual budgets and multi-year financial forecasts. Provide leadership with KPI dashboards and analysis to drive performance and efficiency. Play a key role in strategic planning, treasury management, and financial modeling.
Risk Management & Systems

Oversee IT and financial systems, ensuring they evolve with company needs. Manage insurance and risk mitigation strategies to protect company assets. Continuously strengthen internal controls and processes to reduce risk and improve efficiency.
Team & Culture

Recruit, develop, and coach accounting staff. Encourage professional growth and ongoing learning for yourself and your team. Foster a respectful, progressive, and collaborative workplace.
What We're Looking For

Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of finance/accounting leadership, ideally in a manufacturing or operations environment. Proven success in managing budgets, financial systems, and reporting. Advanced Excel and experience with accounting software (QuickBooks or similar). Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Leadership style that balances accountability with mentorship and collaboration.

Pay: $95,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
