Your mission will be to accelerate delivery through automation while ensuring the performance, scalability, maintainability, and reliability of complex distributed systems.As an engineering automation expert and experienced manager, you will lead teams to build practical engineering practices and standards. You will be responsible ensure innovation initiatives are implementing best practices of DevSecOps, Test and Release Automation and to define continuous improvement objectives in collaboration with the leadership team and other IT groups.As product delivery expert you will ensure the delivery, operationalization and automation of cloud native applications and infrastructures to drive the creation industry leading products.Main ResponsibilitiesTeam Management\xc2\xb7 People Management - management of direct reports, goals setting, career development, hiring, work assignments, team performance.\xc2\xb7 Talent Development - ensure people have clear skill growth objectives in alignment with strategic technology directions and required training resources.\xc2\xb7 Staff Aug Management - Manage the performance of staff augmentation partners to ensure timely staffing of top talent resources.Product Delivery\xc2\xb7 Project Scoping - define project requirements and scope for Testing, DevOps and Release Automation and Support efforts.\xc2\xb7 Project Staffing - create agile delivery PODs with properly skilled people.\xc2\xb7 Project Delivery - drive project execution quality with regular engineering reviews.Engineering Practices\xc2\xb7 Define Innovation group Reliability practices and Influence enterprise directions.\xc2\xb7 Drive clear practice improvement goals with clear outcomes and value.\xc2\xb7 Drive adoption of DevOps, Testing Automation and Site Reliability Engineering best practices enable the acceleration of business value delivery.\xc2\xb7 Govern the application of best practices, standard and improvements through quantifiable metrics and review process.\xc2\xb7 Drive the team to identify emergent technologies and strategies in the industry to accelerate delivery cycles.Working Conditions- Work from home- Office in Canada or USA- Occasional travelRequirementsExperience\xc2\xb7 10+ years in software engineering\xc2\xb7 3+ years as a DevOps lead, QA Lead or SREEducation/Certification/Designation\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in technology related field or equivalent experienceCompetencies\xc2\xb7 Leadership\xc2\xb7 Communication\xc2\xb7 Product Delivery management\xc2\xb7 Business AcumenTechnical Skills/Knowledge

• Strong Experience engineering and delivering enterprise grade products with high SLO.
• Strong experience leading practices and the work of others.
• Strong experience with DevOps tools and practices like Azure DevOps, Git, Nexus, SonarQube - including CI, CD, CT, CD, CR approaches.
• Strong experience with Test Automation tools and practices for Web, Mobile, API, Integration - including TDD, BDD, ATDD.
• Strong ability to manage priorities in an evolving environment and to handle multiple demands.
• Knowledge of Test Data Management is a strong asset.
• Knowledge of SRE is a strong asset.
• Knowledge of Cloud native services on GCP and Azure is an asset.
• Knowledge of IaC practices and tools like Terraform and Python is an asset.
