Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic and execution-oriented Manager of Commercialization to lead the commercialization of our white-label innovation portfolio during a 14-month period. This role is critical in ensuring our partner-driven pipeline transitions seamlessly from concept to in-market success. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing and managing one direct report, this role interfaces with internal teams and external partners to deliver best-in-class commercialization outcomes that uphold our reputation as a top-tier Canadian cannabis producer.
Key Responsibilities
Own the commercialization of white-label product initiatives from brief through to market launch, ensuring all cross-functional workstreams are aligned, on track and delivered on-time.
Manage and coach a Project Manager, providing day-to-day direction, guidance, and performance support.
Serve as the primary commercialization liaison for white label partner brands, translating their vision into executable plans that align with internal capabilities and regulatory requirements.
Drive timelines, critical paths, and internal accountability using project management tools to ensure flawless execution.
Lead cross-functional collaboration across supply chain, operations, regulatory, sales, marketing, and quality assurance.
Ensure data integrity and documentation throughout the stage gate process, providing visibility into project status and escalating risks as needed.
Champion continuous process improvement, identifying friction points and proposing solutions to enhance speed, clarity, or executional excellence.
Support portfolio governance by maintaining trackers, inputs to strategic reviews, and reporting on launch performance.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline.
5-7 years of experience in product commercialization, project management, or go-to-market execution, ideally in CPG, cannabis, or regulated industries.
Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional projects on time and within scope.
Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Teams/SharePoint, or equivalent.
Experience working with external partners, licensing agreements, or white-label models is a strong asset.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with shifting priorities.
This role can be remote, but a visit to the Aylmer location will be required.
Candidates must be based in Canada and work Eastern Time Zone.
