In this pivotal leadership role, you'll manage a dedicated team of Peace Officers while working closely with law enforcement and community partners. Together, you'll uphold community standards, strengthen public safety, and support Cochrane's vibrant, welcoming atmosphere.

What You'll Do

Lead the operations of the Municipal Enforcement section with professionalism, integrity, and vision. Supervise and support enforcement staff, promoting a high-performance, team-oriented environment. Collaborate with RCMP leadership and community partners to deliver proactive, effective enforcement services. Develop operational plans and manage budgets aligned with municipal goals and Council priorities. Represent the Town at Council meetings and community events to build trust and awareness. Respond to enforcement issues and public inquiries with professionalism and care.

What You Bring

Diploma in Law Enforcement, Criminal Justice, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of municipal enforcement experience, including 5 years in a leadership role. Alberta Community Peace Officer Level 1 designation (or eligibility). Strong understanding of municipal, provincial, and federal legislation. Exceptional communication, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills. Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver's License and RCMP Reliability Status.
