They are seeking an experienced Manager \xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x93Marketing & Sales to build awareness and drive new membership opportunities. As the Manager \xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x93Marketing & Sales, you will be working closely with the Executive Director and the Membership team. Working with a small but growing NGO, you will have your pulse on all areas of marketing and sales. You will play a critical role in developing and executing strategic marketing plans that speak to the corporate goals. You will lead the charge on integrating a marketing plan that will help promote new programs and initiatives as well as support prospective members and members alike through their customer journey. You will help oversee the budget for your communications & marketing strategy and monitor financial spending against desired outcomes. With an eye toward membership growth and sustainability, this role will develop partnerships with key stakeholders and find new ways to promote the organization\xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x99s success stories and accomplishments to potential members and the marketplace. Your strong communications background will help develop digital marketing content and advance the internal communication strategy in support of the customer journey. You will not only come up with ideas to build awareness, but you will also be the strategic leader in the execution. The Manager \xc3\xa2\xc2\x80\xc2\x93Marketing & Sales will know how to access, review, and analyze data to make informed decisions and be accountable to KPIs in evaluating desired outcomes, progress, and success. This position will manage all communication channels and orchestrate the digital/social media and PR requirements. Working closely with fellow staff and volunteers, you will know how to foster and nurture professional relationships while inspiring and influencing those to help drive outcomes.
The Ideal Candidate will bring post-secondary education in Marketing or Communications and a minimum of 5 years working in a contributor role. You will be able to toggle the line between Marketing, and inside sales, and know how to take ownership for project coordination. Your knowledge of digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and social media data will be essential to your success. Communication skills in both English & French are a strong asset, and proven expertise working for another small membership-based NGO or small business would be a tremendous asset. We want someone who knows how to self-direct and collaborate. You will be an amazing multi-tasker and team player who is confident and capable of solving problems and bringing new opportunities forward. You will be able to juggle multiple priorities and be a critical thinker who is comfortable making decisions. You have strong computer skills, exceptional accuracy in your work, and a desire to play a key role in driving the growth and success of our organization through innovative marketing and communications strategies!
