We continue to experience record growth and are currently looking for a Manager - Manufacturing Engineering and Facilities in our fast-paced Manufacturing facility in the Greater Moncton area.

ROLE SUMMARY

This role will be responsible for leading the Manufacturing engineering and facilities teams. This position is responsible to ensure new products are properly implemented into production and providing manufacturing engineering support for production. This role includes oversight of the preventative maintenance, selection and general upkeep of the company's capital equipment as well as facility maintenance and upkeep.

Planning, organizing, scheduling and maintaining the activities of the Engineering department Overseeing the conversion of customer build packages to CE3 formatted assembly work instructions for new products. Developing and maintaining work instructions and other documentation for production. Overseeing and participating in new product introduction (NPI), including FAI. Extensive communication is expected with the customer when clarifications are required. Ensuring internal and external calibration activities are performed as per the required intervals Overseeing stencil ordering and approvals Overseeing bare board quote activities and approval processes Process improvements / troubleshooting Configuration management / change order process during documentation revisions. Participates in the selection of new equipment / software used for manufacturing purposes Equipment support / preventative maintenance / troubleshooting / repair. Overseeing PCB / Harness Fixture assembly / troubleshooting / repair Ensuring prototype Wire Harnesses and Cable Assemblies are built for production when needed Ensuring test fixtures and production aids for production are built for production when needed Occasionally attending at customer facilities to assist with product technical issues.


Qualifications:



Degree in Engineering or Business or equivalent Minimum of 5 years related experience in a Manufacturing environment Hands on leader and able to work within a team or on their own Mechanical aptitude Organization Experience interfacing directly with major customers on Engineering issues. Experience working with suppliers Able to work under pressure with a drive for improvement A strong Electronics industry knowledge is required Responsive, strong leadership skill with good business sense Advanced communication skills in English both verbal and written is essential

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE



University degree in engineering A suitable combination of education and experience will also be considered Advanced communication skills in English both verbal and written is essential As an ideal candidate, you have a track record of outstanding managerial experience. You've previously managed day-to-day operational activities, including production and accounting processes. Good business acumen and a minimum of 5 years management experience in a manufacturing facility.
