Manager of Long Term Care

Applications are being accepted for the temporary position of Manager of Long Term Care Services with Western Health in Long Term Care Corner Brook. Reporting to the Regional Director of Long Term Care, the Manager of Long Term Care will be accountable for providing leadership in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating program activities. This position will manage assigned units in Corner Brook. Shift work will be required

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: A baccalaureate degree in a health care related discipline with a minimum of five (5) years\' experience working within a health care discipline and registration through a provincial regulatory body are required. Candidates must have a minimum of five (5) years\' experience working with older adults. A minimum of two (2) years\' management experience or four (4) years\' of leadership experience within the last five (5) years is also required. Critical thinking and problem solving skills are essential, and demonstrated effective leadership is required.
