The Manager, Investment Accounting will help to oversee the accounting, compliance and tax strategy of the Companys investments.

About the Opportunity?
Direct the accounting functions of the Groups investment division and associated entities, encompassing a globally diversified portfolio that includes publicly traded securities, derivatives, venture capital, and private equity fund investments across North America and internationally.
Oversee the accurate and timely recording of all investment-related transactions, including capital calls, distributions, and valuation adjustments for private equity funds.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive monthly investment tracking and reporting packages.
Monitor cash positions across various brokerage accounts and lines of credit, ensuring effective and strategic cash management practices.
Manage all aspects of tax compliance, reporting, and planning for the investment portfolio in collaboration with external tax advisors, ensuring compliance with Canadian and U.S. tax regulations.
Assist with the month-end close process and preparation/review of financial statements for multiple corporate entities within the Group.
Support corporate tax compliance by preparing or reviewing tax filings and returns for applicable entities.
Act as the primary point of contact for external accountants, ensuring timely completion of year-end audits and reviews for selected corporate entities.
Prepare consolidated financial statements for the Group, ensuring accuracy and adherence to applicable accounting standards.
Perform additional tasks and provide support on ad hoc projects as needed.
About You?
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field;
CPA or equivalent designation preferred; CFA (or in progress) is an asset.
Minimum 5 years experience
Experience with PE, fund accounting and public accounting experience are preferred
Strong financial modelling experience
Salary Range?
$110,000 - $130,000/year?
