Position Details
Reporting to the Executive Director, International, the Manager, International Student Recruitment, provides leadership to the International Recruitment unit and serves as part of the ULethbridge International leadership team.

The manager is responsible for managing and growing the international education agent portfolio and managing and growing the International student enrolments for the University of Lethbridge. The incumbent is responsible for tracking/monitoring performance and commission payments for international education agents.

The Manager is responsible for the collaborative development of the annual international recruitment strategies, and the planning, implementation, and evaluation of those strategies with an ultimate purpose of successfully promoting the University of Lethbridge to international students interested in attending post-secondary education.

The Manager is responsible for the creation and maintenance of the communication plans for prospective students and manages a global communications plan for all international recruitment regions. The Manager assists in researching new markets for the purposed of individual student and group or cohort based recruitment initiatives. The incubment will be responsible for the international recruitment event planning both on and off campus.


Position Qualifications
This position may require travel throughout the year with extended stays in foreign countries where evenings, weekends, and long hours are required. A valid Class 5 Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License (or provincial equivalent) with no more than 6 demerits and submission of a motor vehicle record (driver abstract) dated within 3 months of the posting close is required.

The successful candidate will need to be or quickly become familiar with the distinctive programs offered at the University of Lethbridge and with a variety of international secondary and post-secondary educational systems.

The position requires an undergraduate degree (preferably from the University of Lethbridge) and at least three years of related work experience in international student recruitment with exceptional presentation, communication and interpersonal skills and two years of supervisory experience. Previous experience should demonstrate a strong work ethic, high initiative, and independent decision-making ability. The successful candidate must have a valid passport for travel.


Starting Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)
$69,068.71 - $86,888.74 annually


Full Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)
$69,068.71 - $104,707.74 annually (APO - Grade 4)
