Territory Manager, Specialty Gases (Full Time) - Edmonton, AB

Primary Purpose:

The Territory Manager will be responsible for generating sales within an assigned territory of existing & new accounts. The individual in this position will be accountable for achieving quota by prospecting new customers and growing existing relationships.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop increased market share in select high growth-potential specialty gas markets
  • Having direct responsibility for managing a specified number of Key Accounts
  • Focus on sales quota, new business development & maintaining customer relationships
  • Contact existing accounts and cold call new/potential targets
  • Responsible for gross profit improvement and securing new business
  • Implement marketing programs, promotions and new product launches
  • Support national efforts to increase Market share
  • Provide a supporting role to Industrial Territory Managers
  • Improve the profitability of existing accounts by fully understanding value propositions
  • Secures long term relationship by negotiating product supply agreements
  • Accountable for providing complete and accurate account set-up and pricing data
  • Maintain list of target accounts by generating and qualifying new business leads
  • Fully participate in all sales reporting requirements
  • Strong technical & computer skills, ability to learn in fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work on their own and be self-directed
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
Qualifications

Qualifications:

Education:
  • Undergraduate degree or diploma with a Major in Engineering, Sciences, or applicable technology and
related industry experience is preferred

Experience:
  • Preferred 3-5 years of sales experience
  • Experience within Gas Industry is preferred
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
  • Knowledge of specialty gas applications, product lines, and related equipment preferred
  • Curiosity and interest in gas applications with focus on productivity
  • Prior sales success
  • Defined sales process
  • Must possess a valid G class driver\xe2\x80\x99s license
  • Must have ability to lift up to 60lbs.
