Job Description


In this newly created role, the Manager of Internal Communications and Employer Branding is responsible for developing and executing strategies that enhance employee engagement and strengthen the organization's employer brand. Reporting directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), this role will serve as the voice of the CEO, crafting messages that align with the executive vision and company values while fostering a cohesive brand narrative internally and externally.Responsibilities:

  • Internal Communications:
  • Act as the primary communications liaison for the CEO, crafting messages and announcements that align with the company's vision and strategic goals.
  • Develop and implement internal communication strategies to keep employees informed and engaged.
  • Create and distribute internal newsletters, executive communications, and other materials, such as PowerPoint presentations that reflect the CEO's vision and messaging.
  • Develop and implement communications to support HR policies and programs.
  • Employer Branding:
  • Develop and execute employer branding strategies to attract and retain top talent, highlighting the CEO's leadership vision.
  • Identify and lead the content generation for top employer award applications.
  • Collaborate with HR and Marketing to create content showcasing the company culture, values, and employee experiences.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure consistency between internal and external messaging, aligning the employer brand with client and customer communications.
  • Manage the company's presence on employer review sites and social media platforms, ensuring alignment with the CEO's brand message.
  • Content Creation:
  • Produce high-quality content for internal and external audiences, including blogs, videos, and employee testimonials, often conveying the CEO's perspectives.
  • Collaborate with leadership and Marketing to share stories that highlight the company's mission, values, and strategic direction.
  • Leverage AI tools to support creative design and content creation, ensuring innovative and engaging materials.
  • Employee Engagement:
  • Support initiatives that enhance employee engagement and foster a positive workplace culture in line with the CEO's vision.
  • Conduct surveys and gather feedback to measure the effectiveness of internal communication and branding efforts.
  • Event Planning Support:
  • Assist in planning and executing internal events, such as town halls, leadership summits, and employee engagement activities, ensuring they align with the CEO's messaging and company culture.
  • Coordinate with the CEO office to ensure events run smoothly and effectively convey strategic priorities.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead and develop a small team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful execution of communication and branding initiatives.
  • Oversee team performance, manage workloads, and support professional growth.
  • Metrics and Reporting:
  • Track and analyze the effectiveness of communication and branding initiatives, providing insights that reflect the CEO's strategic priorities.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior management on key performance indicators.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in internal communications, employer branding, or a similar role.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with experience in executive-level messaging.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Experience with digital communication platforms and social media management.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to inform strategy and decision-making.
  • Experience in event planning and coordination, preferably in a corporate environment
  • Experience using AI tools for internal communications, such as but not limited to, Microsoft Copilot, ContactMonkey, and ChatGPT.
