:Our client in the non-profit industry is seeking a Manager of Internal Communications & Community Services to join their team. This is a 12-month contract to cover a maternity leave and has the potential to extend longer or lead to a permanent position. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who comes from a Communications, PR, or Marketing background who\'s looking to contribute to the success of this reputable non-profit. This position is located in Surrey, BC, and offers a hybrid work model after probation period.Responsibilities:

• Develop, manage, and maintain the communications calendar and ensure all communications are distributed by the deadline
• Lead the Communications Coordinator and provide coaching and mentoring as needed
• Collaborate with the leadership team and other departments to understand communication priorities
• Compile information to put together newsletters, brochures, presentations, news releases, speeches, articles, and more
• Coordinator with the marketing department to ensure communications are posted on social media platforms
• Work with external vendors such as graphic designers, consultants, artists, etc to support with mailing campaigns
• Ad hoc duties as needed to ensure successful operations

Requirements:Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, or related field
• Minimum 5 years experience in developing and implementing communications strategies
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing a team
• Experience working in the non profit industry is highly preferred
• Demonstrates adaptability, creative thinking, and a go-getter attitude
