Our client, a nationally recognized wholesale distributor of plumbing, HVAC, waterworks, and industrial products with over 120 years of industry leadership, is seeking full-time Management Development Program Trainees to join their Plumbing Division in Manitoba.
This is a hands-on, structured five-phase rotational program designed to give you a complete understanding of the business-from warehouse operations and customer service to sales leadership and people management. You'll work closely with experienced mentors, develop your own sales territory, and build lasting relationships with customers while delivering world-class service.

Program Overview
Phase 1: Warehouse & Logistics
Learn the products, inventory systems, and how materials move from vendors to customers.
Phase 2: Counter Sales & Operations
Gain exposure to customer service, order management, inventory control, pricing, credit management, and financial reporting.
Phase 3: Inside Sales
Support customers with complex projects, learn blueprint reading, perform material take-offs, and prepare detailed quotations.
Phase 4: Outside Sales & Account Management
Develop new business, manage key accounts, negotiate contracts, and strengthen customer and vendor relationships.
Phase 5: Leadership & Supervision
Lead a team, mentor future trainees, contribute to strategic planning, and oversee day-to-day business operations.
Upon successful completion of the program, you'll be prepared to step into a management role at one of our client's Canadian Profit Centre locations.
Who You Are
  • Graduated within the last 4 years
  • University degree or college diploma (all disciplines considered)
  • Motivated, results-driven, and eager to learn
  • Strong leadership potential with excellent customer service skills
  • Highly organized with a strong work ethic and integrity
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills and relationship-building abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Genuine interest in sales and business development
  • Valid driver's license
