MANAGER, HUMAN RESOURCES
The Manager, Human Resources is responsible for providing leadership within the Human Resources team and within the credit union through the execution of day to day responsibilities. In this position, you will contribute to an organization that is results driven, agile and focused on aligning our people around our core credit union values.
In summary, the Manager, Human Resources will
Report to the Director, Human Resources
Lead, manage and mentor members of the Human Resources team
Support the engagement and retention of employees through our employee experience
Embrace our focus on "hiring the best, treating you well & seeing you stay"
Provide consultation with management and employees throughout the credit union
As the successful candidate, you'll have responsibility for:
Supporting all functions of the employment relationship on behalf of WFCU
Managing staffing throughout our retail and administrative teams
Assisting with recruitment as required based on our operational needs
Responsibility for annual performance management process and related support year round
Supporting the total compensation program
Oversight and compliance with HR procedures, administrative processes and audit
Maintaining and auditing the electronic HRIS and files
The "must-have" skills and qualifications that we're looking for are:
A degree or diploma in Business Administration with a concentration in HR or equivalent
A minimum of seven years with progressive experience in the HR field
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, written and spoken
Ability to work productively in an environment with changing priorities
Scheduling flexibility including occasional travel throughout Ontario
Striving for continuous improvement every day
Expert computer proficiency skills operating Microsoft Excel and Word
These additional skills are considered assets too:
CHRP or CHRL designation
Experience navigating a Human Resources Information System
Experience working in the financial services industry
