Position Summary:





As our

HR Manager,

you will lead a team of HR Generalists coaching and supporting leaders implement HR policies and programs, delivering people centred solutions on timely basis. Working collaboratively across the HR team supporting the implementation of new programs.

Job Responsibilities:




Lead the consistent application of HR practices and collective agreements by providing expert oversight and guidance, while maintaining full legislative compliance across teams. Manage the accommodations and disability claims process, ensuring smooth vendor management, contract compliance, and timely resolution of escalated cases. Oversee the execution of records retention strategies related to employee relations, performance management, and organizational changes, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Partners with leadership to address complex employee relations challenges, applying best practices and data-driven insights to support effective resolutions. Drives continuous improvement in HR policies and practices by recommending updates that enhance efficiency and ensure full legislative compliance, while owning the drafting of new and revised policies.

Job Qualifications:




A degree or diploma in Human Resources Management or Humanities, or a post-graduate certificate in either field. Possess or working towards Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation. Minimum 5 years of experience in employee relations, including performance management and accommodations, along with at least 2 years of supervisory experience focused on mentoring and developing emerging HR talent. Strong knowledge of employment legislation including Employment Standards Act, Ontario Human Rights Code, and Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act. Experience in program management, project planning, policy development, and continuous improvement. Ability to analyse root causes, develop strategic solutions, and guide people leaders through complex HR processes. Strong communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills. Ability to manage sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
