THE OPPORTUNITYIMT Precision Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead a team of HR professionals, ensuring the seamless operation of HR functions.   • Partner with the Vice President, Human Resources to drive strategic HR initiatives, manage budgets, and ensure HR policies and programs align with business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, company policies, and industry best practices.
  • Lead HR audits and reporting to maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership on employee engagement and workforce planning.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • Oversee workforce planning, job evaluations, and succession planning to support business growth.
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to foster an inclusive workplace culture.
Employee & Labour Relations
  • Provide guidance on labour relations, including grievance resolution and collective agreement interpretation.
  • Lead collective bargaining efforts and negotiations.
  • Mediate workplace conflicts and facilitate resolution processes.
  • Serve as the designated recipient for workplace harassment and violence occurrences.
Performance Management & Development
  • Implement and oversee performance management systems, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Develop training programs that support employee growth and professional development.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and workplace satisfaction.
Compensation & Benefits Administration
  • Oversee compensation, benefits, and pension administration to ensure competitive and equitable offerings.
  • Collaborate with Finance to ensure payroll accuracy and salary forecasting.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • University Degree or Certification in Human Resources Management; CHRP, CHRL, CSP, or CRSP designation preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in human resources and labour relations, with at least 4 years in a management role.
  • Proven leadership experience in unionized manufacturing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, collective agreements, and labour relations best practices.
  • Expertise in coaching, mediation, negotiation, and team leadership.
  • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now, Microsoft Office Suite, and HR data analytics.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to influence and build positive relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent time management and presentation skills.
