This role is a thrilling opportunity for someone passionate about advancing research and facilitating meaningful scientific contributions. By managing and improving the grant application process, youll play a pivotal role in empowering research teams to secure funding for groundbreaking projects, while ensuring compliance and efficiency. Youll also be at the forefront of strategic supportxe2x80x94matching researchers with funding opportunities, providing expert advice, and guiding award nominations to amplify recognition and career growth. The position combines administrative excellence with innovative problem-solving and collaboration within the vibrant Toronto research community, making it an engaging and rewarding chance to create lasting impacts in the field.
Reporting to the Director, Research Operations & Business Development, the Manager, Grant & Award Development position will lead the people and processes which provide administrative and strategic support around competitive research funding applications (operating grant applications, infrastructure grant applications, and Awards and Honours nominations), ensuring continued growth and success of BRIs research programs.
Provides excellent customer service by working closely with our talented scientists and their teams, managing their grant and award portfolio and their main point of contact for pre-award grant operations. Elevates our researchers through strategic award nominations.
This is a hybrid role; with 3 days per week on site.
