Our Team:
The Manager, Fulfillment Strategy & Operations will report to the Sr. Director of Fulfillment & Delivery Experience and be responsible for driving the scalability and profitability of the North American fulfillment network through continuous process improvement, network optimization, and leading inter-company initiatives between Vista and sister Cimpress companies. Scope of processes will include, but are not limited to fulfiller prospecting, contracting, contract enforcement, invoice reconciliation, claims reimbursement, fulfiller performance monitoring, and general vendor management. Inter-company initiatives will involve new product launches, insourcing or outsourcing of existing products, customer experience improvements, and cost savings projects.As our fulfillment network and product offerings grow, the management of and decision making for routing orders across Vista plants, Cimpress-owned businesses, and 3PFs will become more complicated with the need to optimize for cost and strategic back-up redundancy. This role will involve analysis and scenario modeling to recommend the optimal routing.
In addition, this role will have responsibility over 3PF carrier relationship management (UPS, Purolator, Canada Post).What You Will Do:

  • Assess existing processes to recommend improvements and develop net new scalable processes where gaps exist
  • Determine ways to recoup some of the ~$3M annual cost of credits/refunds to customers on 3PF fulfilled products
  • Lead intercompany NPI, insourcing, and outsourcing projects
  • Determine optimal routing for multi-fulfiller scenarios
  • Analyze cost-effectiveness of current order routing
  • Forecast demand distribution across fulfillment network
  • Establish added rigor around carrier management

  • 5+ years of experience in operations, manufacturing, supply chain logistics, vendor management, and/or procurement
  • Data analysis and data modeling
  • Comfort working with and drawing insights from large data sets
  • Project Management
  • Process mapping and definition
  • Optimization methods
  • High degree of business acumen
  • Experience writing business cases and performing financial modeling
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
Nice to Have:
  • Prior experience with print products
  • Knowledge of APIs
  • Ecommerce experience
