About This Opportunity

In this role, you will provide financial accounting expertise, financial reporting and analysis, technical accounting guidance, audit support and other controllership activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead period closing, analysis, reporting and support for accounting transactions and processes including ensuring the timeliness, accuracy, integrity and quality of the accounting performed
• Coordinate accounting issues with business unit finance, internal controls, other departments, and auditors
• Ensure accounting and reporting follows the Canadian Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises and the Coca-Cola Canada Bottling\xe2\x80\x99s policy and requirements
• Lead and develop a team that provides financial and analytical support for these areas to internal and external stakeholders, including auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Accounting designation
• 4+ years experience in accounting and financial analysis
• Strong understanding of finance business processes and accounting policies/GAAP
• Excellent organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; and above average Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent analytical, planning, interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience with SAP is an asset
