About This Opportunity
In this role, you will provide financial accounting expertise, financial reporting and analysis, technical accounting guidance, audit support and other controllership activities.
Responsibilities
Lead period closing, analysis, reporting and support for accounting transactions and processes including ensuring the timeliness, accuracy, integrity and quality of the accounting performed
Coordinate accounting issues with business unit finance, internal controls, other departments, and auditors
Ensure accounting and reporting follows the Canadian Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises and the Coca-Cola Canada Bottling\xe2\x80\x99s policy and requirements
Lead and develop a team that provides financial and analytical support for these areas to internal and external stakeholders, including auditors.
Qualifications
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Accounting or Finance
Accounting designation
4+ years experience in accounting and financial analysis
Strong understanding of finance business processes and accounting policies/GAAP
Excellent organizational skills
Attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; and above average Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent analytical, planning, interpersonal and communication skills
Experience with SAP is an asset
