Position Summary



The MNjcc is seeking a strategic, creative, and technically-savvy

Manager of Digital Marketing

to lead our digital communications and content strategy. This individual will elevate the MNjcc's digital presence, drive audience engagement, and ensure our online platforms act as powerful lead generators and brand storytellers.

As a key member of the Marketing team, the Manager will shape how we speak to our diverse audience across web, social, and digital advertising platforms. They will lead the creation of a comprehensive social media playbook, optimize our digital advertising strategy, and apply audience segmentation techniques to improve targeting, retention, and conversion.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities



Digital Strategy & Leadership



Lead and execute the MNjcc's digital marketing strategy across all channels, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.

Identify and address gaps in current digital delivery, introducing creative and scalable solutions.

Act as a digital subject-matter expert, advising internal stakeholders and mentoring junior team members when needed.

Social Media & Content Marketing



Develop and implement a social media playbook, setting standards for content tone, cadence, and channel strategy.

Manage the MNjcc's digital content calendar and ensure timely, relevant, and engaging posts across all platforms.

Collaborate with program teams to source stories and content that bring the MNjcc's work to life.

Capture and edit video for purposes of web and social media.

Website & Email Marketing



Oversee website strategy and content, ensuring information is accurate, accessible, user-friendly, and aligned with SEO best practices.

Manage and optimize the bi-weekly newsletter, The Pulse, and other email communications using audience segmentation and data analytics.

Digital Advertising & Analytics



Plan, execute, and evaluate paid digital campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, etc.) to drive registrations, donations, and awareness.

Monitor and report on key performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics and Wix Insights; use data to inform decisions and continually improve outcomes.

Brand & Audience Development



Ensure consistent brand voice and tone across digital channels that reflect the welcoming, inclusive spirit of the MNjcc.

Use CRM and audience data to tailor messaging and improve user journeys across web and email.

Work with the Accessibility & Inclusion team to ensure content meets AODA standards.

Qualifications



3-5 years of professional experience in digital marketing, communications, or a related field.

Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital campaigns and content strategies.

Experience creating a social media playbook or managing a comprehensive social presence.

Strong grasp of digital advertising platforms, CRM tools, and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, Mailchimp, etc.).

Excellent writing and content creation skills -- able to adapt voice, simplify complex messages, and engage diverse audiences. Knowledge of SEO, audience segmentation, and digital funnel strategies. Exceptional project management skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience in a nonprofit, arts & culture, or community-based organization is an asset. Skilled in basic video production and editing, and video editing software is an asset.

Work Environment & Expectations



Full-time (37.5 hours/week); 4 days in office, per week Occasional evening/weekend availability required for emergency digital communications (e.g., weather-related closures).

Salary and Benefits



Annual salary: $55,000
