As Manager, Digital Marketing, you will oversee five members within the Channel Marketing team. You\xe2\x80\x99ll work with tech and media companies, as well as AMA\xe2\x80\x99s teams in Corporate Communications, Community Engagement, and Digital Member Experience to deliver digital marketing results. Your role will bring together strategies and campaigns from across our business lines to ensure we\xe2\x80\x99re delivering the right messages to the right audiences, at the right times, using the right channels. You\xe2\x80\x99ll manage our media expenditures, optimizing efficiencies and customizing our media mix. You\xe2\x80\x99ll also help refine the way we speak to audiences to ensure we\xe2\x80\x99re always hitting the sweet spot of value, relevance, and emotional connection.

WHAT YOU\'LL DO
  • Report to the Director, Marketing.
  • Establish strong working relationships with Marketing and Communications leadership and other stakeholders to ensure that our programs, products, and services are implemented through strategic initiatives and aligned with brand voice.
  • Manage the implementation and development of marketing plans to fulfill the e-commerce vision and strategy for achieving corporate sales and conversion goals.
  • Coordinate digital marketing efforts geared to grow business, increase customer engagement, promote products, and optimize the online experience.
  • Collaborate with other business units and teams to develop data-driven marketing insights and strategies.
  • Plan, schedule and oversee the execution of AMA\xe2\x80\x99s social strategies, ensuring a cohesive story in social media content, effective cadence, and modernized tactics.
  • Consult with key stakeholders to evolve the current practice of CRM\xe2\x80\x94inclusive but not limited to e-mail and SMS strategies tactics, and the implementation and evaluation of our marketing automation platform.
  • Support the delivery of AMAs exciting Member Journey Transformation at an enterprise level; as we refine the way we not only speak to members, but how we measure and integrate our omni-channel strategy.
  • Work closely with Optimization and Automation Specialists to ensure full funnel digital buys are effective, and member (and prospective member) experience is continually evaluated.
  • Manage the administration and coordination of activities involving the acceptance, monitoring, and performance of contracts between the organization and clients/vendors.
  • Monitor trends in social, digital, and mobile media while overseeing the exploration of new tools, best practices, and applications.
  • Ensure strategic reporting and process-flow related to channel oversight (social, PPC, CRM, and offline media).
  • Quality control for concepts and projects, including reviewing and approving integrated media tasks with the Channel Marketing Team.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, and proactively manage the success of production scope, schedules, and budget management.
  • Provide ongoing evaluation, mentorship and guidance to your direct reports.
WHAT YOU\'VE DONE
  • You have a postsecondary degree in Marketing.
  • You have at least 6 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with a wide variety of media, including content marketing, email marketing, lead generation and social marketing.
  • You have a minimum of 2 years\' supervisory experience leading highly effective teams.
  • You have robust experience planning and purchasing offline media, including broadcast, print and out of home.
  • Experience in customer research and engagement. Search marketing would be an asset.
  • Demonstrate outstanding data analysis skills and ability to make data-driven business decisions.
