Are you up for the challenge and the fun? If so, consider the following opportunity:
As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for analyzing large and complex datasets to uncover insights, trends, and opportunities that can be leveraged to enhance our product offerings, customer experience, and business operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, network engineering to develop data-driven solutions to complex business problems.
Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize key business problems that can be addressed through data-driven approaches.
  • Develop and implement statistical and machine learning models to analyze large datasets and generate actionable insights.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in the data.
  • Design and implement data visualization and reporting tools to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines to support the ingestion, processing, and analysis of large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of data models, and iteratively refine them to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and research in data science, machine learning, and telecom technologies to ensure the company stays ahead of the competition.
  • Assist in creating a data-driven culture by educating and mentoring team members on best practices in data analysis and modeling.
  • Document all code on internal GitHub and confluence, sharepoint.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a data science role, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
  • Proficient in Spark, Python, Hive, SQL, SAS for data analysis and machine learning.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and data modeling techniques.
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Azure Machine Learning and Databricks.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with churn prediction, offer mapping optimization and similar applications in the telecom industry.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and services, such as Databricks and Azure.
  • Experience in data science roles to support marketing campaigns.
