The Manager - Protective Services, works within Alberta Health Services\' clinical dyad model of physician and administrative co-leads to advance accessible and quality patient-focused health services in a sustainable manner. This position works Mon-Fri 0800-1615.

Required Qualifications:

The Manager of Operations for Protective Services performs a key leadership role in Protective Services and reports directly to the Edmonton Zone Director. This position is responsible and accountable for making key decisions, providing the direction, leadership and organization over the activities of Protective Services in support of the vision, mission and business plan of Alberta Health Services. This position serves as the main point of contact to provide Protective Services operational support, advice, and consultation to both AHS internal and external key stakeholders. Additional Required Qualifications:

2 years post-secondary education in Law Enforcement, Social Studies, or Security & Asset protection. Certified Healthcare Protection Administrator designation. Certified Protection Professional. Security Management Certificate. A minimum of two (2) years in an operational role, ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity, and diversity. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. Equivalent education and experience considered. Preferred Qualifications:
