Our client, a growing real estate finance company in the Tri City area is currently recruiting a Manager, Corporate Finance.

The Manager, Corporate Finance will be responsible for leading the company's key financial functions (accounting, reporting, forecasting, strategic projects, etc.), alongside the rest of the Corporate Finance and Accounting teams. This is a dynamic, challenging, and visible role that will grow in scope and responsibility over time with the company.

Key duties include:

Corporate Accounting and Reporting:

• Assisting with monthly financial statement preparation and analysis
• Providing financial and operational information to management, borrowers, and lenders
• Identifying opportunities to enhance financial processes, procedures, and controls
• Optimizing the new accounting software to improve existing processes
• Working directly with external audit, tax, and legal professionals as needed

Forecasting and Special Projects:

• Driving the monthly FP&A and annual budgeting cycles
• Participating in cash flow forecasts and managing corporate liquidity
• Assisting with due diligence and marketing materials for prospective lenders
• Collaborating cross-functionally on strategic projects and initiatives
• Creating financial models and analyzing data to support strategic decision-making

Operations and Compliance:

• Overseeing revenue completeness (reviewing loan agreement documents, etc.)
• Participating in the execution of financing transaction closings, working with Legal, Accounting, and Project Management teams
• Providing financial and operational information to external regulatory bodies

Job Requirements:

• A qualified CPA with 4 to 6+ years of professional work experience, ideally in public accounting or a related industry (real estate, financial services)
• Exceptional accounting, financial modeling, and data analysis skills
• A desire to pursue a challenging career in real estate finance
• Strong attention to detail, organized, and a strong communicator
• Experience in M&A or corporate development is a plus
• Experience drafting and reviewing legal financing documents is a plus
