To continue this success, we are deepening our relationship with guests and their communities. The next step is to build out our digital ecosystem and expand our TimCard offering to include next-generation financial tools and products. Our goal is to double the number of guests using our app every month. We're quickly growing the team and need a Manager, Collections Strategy in our Toronto office. You will be supporting the financial services business unit with managing the credit collections strategy for its credit products. We aim to serve and meet the digital payments needs of Canadians, while connecting them to the brand Canadians trust most.

Responsibilities: What you'll do:

  • Develop and maintain credit collections strategies are aligned to the business unit's profitability objectives.
  • Design and implement processes to reduce receivables that 30 days past day.
  • Collaborate with the Product team design and implement a customer relationship management and communications strategy which aligns with the credit collections strategy.
  • Continually monitor credit portfolio receivables and delinquencies. Generate ad hoc, daily, weekly, and monthly reports on recovery of overdue receivables and other various collections metrics
  • Monitor and manage the performance of credit collections 3rd party agents
  • Performs quality assurance of calls through call monitoring
Requirements: What you'll bring:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in credit collections in the banking and financial services sector
  • Must be well-versed with credit and collections policy, systems, and controls, preferably in an oversight capacity, from either an auditing or a managerial perspective
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, economics or business administration
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
