Manager, Client ServicesEmployment Opportunity at Autism Society, Newfoundland and LabradorThe Autism Society, Newfoundland & Labrador (ASNL), is a non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to fostering the development of individualized, lifelong, community-based supports and services for all autistic persons, their families, allies and caregivers. ASNL is seeking a candidate for the position of Manager, Client Services.Job Summary: Reporting to ASNL's Chief Executive Officer, this individual is a member of the leadership team at ASNL. The role provides leadership to a team of 12 people who are responsible for navigation, advocacy, recreational programing, employment programs, and all other interactions with the ASNL community.Responsibilities: Provides leadership support to all team members including scheduling, coaching, professional development, and support Ability to travel within the province and/or work outside the normal workday on occasion to support families/individuals, community groups, and ASNL staff Prepares quarterly reports for the CEO that identify areas specific to the quarter, semi-annual and annual outputs related to programs and services that are the responsibility of ASNL. Oversees the 1: 1 advocacy efforts across the province to ensure consistency and compliance with ASNL mandate, polices, protocols and procedures. Oversees the collection of data on key concerns and issues related to funded programs and services. Maintains a professional relationship with colleagues across Canada to facilitate idea exchange regarding funded programs and services.Qualifications: Post-secondary degree is a relevant field The ability to lead, delegate and oversee diverse programs/services operations Ability to focus and balance the financial, social and environmental needs of the organizations in order to achieve its mandate. Supervisory/management experience Proven data collection and analysis skills Demonstrated oral and written communication skills Demonstrated team building and problem-solving skills Valid NL Driver's License and personal vehicle Successful completion of Criminal Records and Vulnerable Sector ChecksAssets: Enthusiasm to work with a not-for-profit organization Experience working with autistic persons Lived experience with disabilitySalary: This is a full-time position with a $65,000 salary and an optional employee benefits package.
