What is the opportunity? As Manager, Client Credit Support, you will be a credit professional that assesses and processes credit solutions for Private Banking clients aligned with the Private Banking value proposition. You will lead with a growth mindset, focusing on what\xe2\x80\x99s possible to maximize client acquisition, growth, and deliver an exceptional client experience. You will deliver on the RBC promise of superior client service through efficient support to the Managers, Credit Structures, in delivering high-end relationship management and advice to high net worth clients following all five principles of the Black Card Experience. The work location is flexible but the successful candidate will be required to work at one of our offices within the province (i.e. Montr\xc3\xa9al, Westmount, Laval, Brossard, Qu\xc3\xa9bec, Saint-Laurent, Sherbrooke or Gatineau). What will you do?

  • Deliver efficient, professional, and best-in-class support to the Managers, Credit Structures, Private Bankers, and Private Banking clients
  • Efficiently coordinate credit fulfillment activities and ensure premium turnaround times, meeting or exceeding client expectations
  • Action daily excess management reports, obtaining Group Risk Management\xe2\x80\x99s approval when required
  • Interact with Private Banking clients and support their day-to-day needs, including discussing the various options available to them regarding their credit products
  • Conduct credit analyses for financing applications for clients with complex financial structures and prepare recommendations for approval as appropriate
  • Collaborate with team to identify, evaluate, and act on early warning signals, financial covenants, margins, collateral security values and take immediate action, as required
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in French and English (in order to serve French and English-speaking clients in the Qu\xc3\xa9bec market)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in credit granting to personal and/or business clients in a client-facing/contact environment
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a client-facing role (branch or Advice Centre environment)
  • Superior client relationship management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a national team
  • Solid organizational skills with a proven track record in managing high net worth client expectations
Nice-to-have
  • Knowledge and understanding of RBC Private Banking financing products, credit/risk procedures, guidelines, and standards
  • Experience in Business and/or Commercial Markets
  • Experience with complex credit products such as investment lending, Bankers\' Acceptances, home equity financing solutions, etc.
  • Experience working as part of a national team with colleagues located across the country
  • Experience in credit fulfillment and support
