Requisition ID: 202963Join a purpose driven winning team, committed to results, in an inclusive and high-performing culture.Purpose:Ther Manager contributes to the overall success of the Change Initiatives, Retail & Business Service Centres and Adjudication Center of Expertise in Canada by maximizing product profitability through the design, development, implementation, production support and ongoing management of the Credit Adjudication Platform for Small Business. In so doing, the incumbent controls Risk, prioritizes efficient Adjudication processes and enhance customer journey activities.Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Champions a customer focused culture and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Champion the focus on Design Thinking and Agile Methodologies to develop an experience for Credit Adjudication in Canada.
  • Deliver outcomes that improve adjudicators experience and process efficiency gains.
  • Leverage new technologies and innovation during development cycles to automate adjudication process.
  • Ensure alignment between Risk, Technology and Operations and Business Teams.
  • Play the Product Owner role within an agile environment ensuring the Scrum team members and business stakeholders are fully equipped to contribute to maximizing business value & enhancing the customer experience.
  • Prepare backlog items, ensuring sufficient depth and clarity of groomed stories/bug fixes are always available for consumption by Development teams.
  • Actively contributes to the day-to-day operations of the Scrum Lab ensuring alignment with Credit Adjudication team objectives and priorities.
  • Focused on ensuring backlog items are clearly articulated and well understood by developers and testers and removes obstacles and/or impediments to support effective sprint cycles.
  • Contribute to building enterprise capabilities and expertise of \'Agile\' project management.
  • Effectively communicate product release contents and expected product capabilities/customer journey to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Facilitate problem solving as required, working closely with business stakeholders and Scrum lab on implementation challenges
  • Work with Product Owners from various labs to prioritize stories and work effort, as required
  • Support ACE with production issues and expedite Tickets which have been raised to facilitate faster turnaround times, reducing any potential negative impact to customer service
  • Assess the impact of any bugs which have occurred during a release, to determine appropriate work around or need for an expedited release (ECR)
  • Understand how the Bank\'s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We\'d love to work with you if you have:
  • Bachelor\'s degree required/ MBA preferred
  • 3+ years experience managing complex project-based work / Previous experience in a Product Ownership role is a significant asset
  • Familiarity of Small Business products, services, policies and procedures, banking regulations and related regulatory requirements
  • Ability to develop compelling business cases, including cost benefit analyses
  • Command of project management principles, methodology and tools
  • Required knowledge of Credit and or adjudication systems and processes
  • Thorough understanding of Design Thinking and Agile methodologies
