About the Opportunity
- Lead IFRS month-end closing processes and ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statement
- Prepare necessary journal entries, reconciliations and financial reports for month-end related to key GL accounts which includes Capital assets and inventory
- Lead the external audit process, including liaising with our external auditors.
- Execute timely compliance reporting, board reporting and audited financial statement issuance.
- Preparation of timely and accurate financial reports, including analysis of performance, variance and YTD results
- Maintain the fixed asset register.
- Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, a CPA or CA, strongly preferred.
- 5 years of experience working in complex and fast-paced environments
- Prior experience working in a similar role
- Experience with large ERP and Advanced Excel skills
