This role can be based out of one our main offices including: Stellarton, NS; Mississauga, ON; Alberta, AB; Vancouver, BC.

Here\'s where you\'ll be focusing:

As a Manager, Business Solutions Engagement - Supply Chain with Sobeys, you will:

  • Responsible for fostering and maintaining relationships with the business and organizational stakeholders.
  • Serve as a liaison between Technology and the business, with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Manage relationships with customers and vendors to build the brand and the business.
  • Build the organizational network through targeted outreach and strong project planning.
  • Liaise with business partners to solve issues, communicate needs and create synergy.
  • Analyze and report on partner initiatives, forecast for strategic changes and report on key metrics.
  • Support the creation of the product roadmap for their line of business by ensuring roadmap delivers on business strategic goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with IT Solution Managers to manage product backlogs.
  • Manage a team of Business Analysts to deliver effective requirements and manage business expectations.
  • Responsible for delivery of Discovery gate on time and budget
  • Effectively gate and hand off Discovery into DD&P while ensuring ownership and accountability.
  • Remain abreast of latest technology innovations and trends.
  • Responsible for ensuring business partners receive regular and timely updates of overall business engagements.
  • Support the development of techniques, templates and processes to ensure consistency when delivering status updates. (i.e. project status, enhancement status, groomed/prioritized backlog, service tickets).
  • Interface and collaborate with IT Solutions Manager towards one common goal.
  • Initiator and collaborator to drive alignment with cross functional teams such as Technology acceleration and road mapping team, EDO, Security, Strategic Sourcing, IT Finance.
  • Responsible for Discovery phase deliverables.
  • Manages the business analysis function and resources (including performance management).

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business or Computer Science.
  • Ability to manage a small sized team.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Critical thinking and ability to look at the big picture to identify cross functional impacts and dependencies.
  • 3-5 years of experience as manager in the retail industry.
  • Strong leadership skills to motivate team members and know how to efficiently make important decisions.
  • Proven ability to negotiate and relay business requirements.
  • Strong understanding of a product life cycle.
  • Excellent communications skills, ability to multi-task, excellent attention to detail.
The salary range for this position in [British Columbia] is [$90,666K - $125,000K per year]. We will consider factors such as your working location, work experience and skills as well as internal equity, and market conditions to ensure that you are paid fairly and competitively.
