Position Summary:

The Supply Chain Management (SCM) Department helps drive the design, planning, execution, control, and monitoring of supply chain activities. Our objective is to translate customer demand into on time vaccine delivery

The Planning team is a close knit group of enthusiastic, collaborative and results driven professionals. Our goal is to translate the site master plan into shop floor execution. The planning managers play a critical role on site, often acting as the bridge between varieties of stakeholders to ensure our operations stay on track.

We are looking for an individual to join our Bulk Planning team as Bulk Planning Manager, cP. This position is responsible for planning and optimizing manufacturing operations in our Component Pertussis platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning - Maintain and manage short to mid-term planning horizon (0 to 12 months). Ensure production schedules and mid-term production plans are executable and attainable and are in alignment with project requirements, maintenance and tech services plans, capability validated assumptions and resource availability. Monitor and review stock levels. Perform inventory forecasts for financial, supply, or other evaluations

Scenario Planning - Prepare supply scenarios to outline impacts related to any changes to production plan, project/independent requirements, changes in market requirements,

Site Supply Review - Highlight challenges/bottlenecks that may have an impact on TOR supply commitments during the IA S&OP process (Site Supply Review meeting). Help establish mitigation plans where appropriate.

Convergence - act as a key point of contact for site convergence planning.

Capability - help facilitate monthly capability process to determine total capacity for the business unit.

Inventory Management - continuous monitoring of critical antigen inventories. Forecasting and optimizing production plans to maintain target inventory levels. WIP/Late WIP management.

Bulk Throughput & Cycle Time - manage bulk throughput/cycle time of finished antigen, ensuring operational supply plan is met.

Master Data - Conduct regular Master Data audits to ensure the accuracy in SAP. Primary point of contact for Master Data change/creation/discontinuation process

One Schedule -Leader of the "One Schedule" process. Facilitate the integration of PM01 & 02, cleaning, MTECH requirements, shutdowns, and other project requirements on facility and equipment into the short and mid-term schedule

KPI's - Develop, track and report KPI's.

Key Requirements:

Minimum University graduate in appropriate discipline (Science, Engineering, Business).

APICS certified or actively working towards certification.

Three (3) to five (5) progressive years of relevant manufacturing/operations experience.

Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Experience with SAP an asset.

This includes unionized trades, salaried managers, technical services support functions, production and supporting functions.

Understand the Business - The vaccine industry is complex and dynamic. You can develop in-depth understanding of vaccine manufacturing, including the technical and quality processes and their interconnections.

Technical and Functional Expertise - Lots of people can turn data into information. You turn information into insight. You have high technical aptitude in relevant business software (eg. SAP, SCP tool, Qlikview, Excel, etc.).
