Located just off Hwy 400 in Innisfil, Ontario, we offer over 100,000 sq. ft. of vendor space and attract thousands of visitors every weekend. As we enter a new stage of growth, we're looking for a talented manager to help shape the future of our brand and business.
About the Role
We're hiring a
Manager, Brand & Business Development
to lead vendor growth, shopper engagement, and brand evolution. This is a high-impact role with strong potential to transition into a long-term leadership position. You'll work directly with ownership and have a front-row seat in transforming one of Canada's best-known weekend markets.
This is a one-year full-time contract, with strong potential for renewal or permanent placement.
Key Responsibilities
Vendor & Shopper Growth
Recruit and onboard new vendors who align with our shopper demographics
Develop seasonal strategies to attract side hustlers, artisans, food vendors, and entrepreneurs
Monitor vendor churn, optimize booth mix, and contribute to revenue planning
Brand & Marketing
Build and maintain a modern, consistent brand voice
Plan and publish social media content (Instagram, Facebook) and vendor spotlights
Oversee messaging, tone, and visual branding across all touchpoints
Respond to DMs and shopper/vendor inquiries on social platforms
Revenue & Promotions
Launch and grow paid promotional packages for vendors
Explore new revenue ideas (e.g., partnerships, affiliate promotions, special services)
Help improve vendor-facing marketing offerings
Events & Shopper Experience
Plan and execute small-scale weekend events that drive traffic and match the brand (e.g. themed days, food pop-ups, family-friendly activities)
Support on-site execution and coordination with vendors and staff
Leadership & Business Evolution
Help modernize vendor onboarding and communications
Identify operational improvements to better support long-term business goals
Work closely with ownership on growth planning, brand alignment, and performance goals
What We're Looking For
4+ years experience in marketing, business development, or vendor-based retail
Strong communication and writing skills
Experience building or managing a brand across digital and physical channels
Knowledge of social media platforms and basic content tools (Canva, Meta Business Suite, etc.)
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Passion for small business, retail, and Canadian entrepreneurship
Bonus Experience
Event planning or coordination
CRM or vendor management systems
Background in flea/farmers' markets, pop-up retail, or trade shows
