We currently have career opportunities for Senior Consultants and Managers in our Capital Markets (CM) consulting team. Your key responsibilities

As a part of the CM practice, you will advise clients and team with client information, data, and technology professionals, and/or third-party strategic alliances to deliver strategic technology-enabled transformations and major digital implementations. You will manage and deliver on client engagements, build client relationships, and support team development. This will include generating new business opportunities by developing ideas and solutions to present to internal and external clients.

To qualify for the role, you must have
  • Capital Markets Business domain expertise. Intimate knowledge of the trading environment (front, middle, and back office), trading instruments (including Derivatives and Exotics across multiple asset classes), pricing, risk, and knowledge of the risk and regulatory issues within the Capital Markets businesses lines.
  • Capital Markets Technology experience. Practical knowledge of the Capital Markets and investment division business and technical architecture and workflows. Experience with implementation of trading and risk platforms (Murex, Calypso, etc)
  • Hands-on experience with delivering technology solutions in Capital Markets industry across any of the following process areas:
    • Transaction processing from pre-trade to settlement, transaction pricing, market risk, position / portfolio management, collateral management, client onboarding as well as risk and regulatory concepts
    • Understanding of technology environments across Capital Markets; typical integration of key systems and platforms (trade capture, pricing, reference data, market data, etc.)
    • Understanding of basic principles of financial data modeling; data shape, size, velocity of change
    • Strong knowledge of transaction lifecycle
    • Strong knowledge of financial instruments and asset classes (e.g., fixed income, multi asset derivatives, equities, FX, commodities)
    • Understanding of functions across front, middle, and back office
    • Overall understanding of the front to back capital markets data value chain
    • Excellent analytical skills with ability to systematically resolve technical problems
    • Attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, good communication across all levels of seniority in an organization

Ideally, you\xe2\x80\x99ll also have

Technical Skills (Technology and Data Architecture)
  • Experience within core front office trading and risk platform/ systems implementation, including data import, extraction, management and downstream reporting into various other systems
  • Understanding of data strategy, data architecture, data flows and some understanding of data modelling
  • Previous experience as a Business Analyst with IT knowledge and have complete knowledge on all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) gained in a variety of domains, including Banking
  • Hands on experience in analyzing and documenting Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Requirements Documents (FRD), Use Cases and Requirements Traceability Matrix
  • Business Leadership in broad range of management assignments including Sales, eCommerce, Marketing, Revenue Management, Operational Support, Vendor Selection (including offshore), Vendor Management and Systems Management to deliver and service Consumer, Business and Wholesale Products
  • Experience working on Waterfall, RUP, and Agile software development methodologies
  • Excellent analytical skills in understanding the business process (AS-IS and TO-BE), understanding the functional requirements and translating them to system requirement specifications
  • Experienced in conducting Joint Application Development (JAD) AND Rapid Application Development (RAD) sessions. Conducted Requirement Gathering Sessions and interviewed Subject Matter Experts, gathered detailed functionality aspects of business process, and updated the information to the requirements in an easily comprehensible format
  • Strong experience in all phases of software development lifecycle (SDLC) using waterfall, Agile/Scrum, RUP.
  • Extensive experience in creating business process flow diagrams, UML (Unified Modelling Language) tools to create Activity, Sequence, Use Case, Class, and Collaboration diagrams
  • Extensive experience in HP Quality Center, Jira and Bugzilla, Microsoft test center
  • Participating in project activities like Task Kick-off, Project Monitoring, and Project Closure etc.
  • Have knowledge of Version Control, Configuration Management and Change Control procedures
  • Well experienced in working on MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Visio, and MS Project
  • In depth knowledge in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Rational Unified Process (RUP) methodology, Use Cases, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes
  • Competent in Creating Unified Modelling Language (UML) diagrams such as Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, Class Diagrams and Sequence Diagrams
  • Proficient in Technical and Business Writing, Business Process Flow, Business Process Modelling, Business Analysis and testing various methodologies
  • Able to facilitate Change Management across entire process from Project conceptualization to Testing through Project Delivery, Software Development and Implementation Management in diverse Business and Technical Environments
  • Experience in the ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) of data into a data warehouse
  • Being a creative and enthusiastic self-starter with integrative thinking skills, capable of forming and maintaining positive and productive working relationships in internal, external, independent, and team environments

Desired Skills
  • BSc/BA in Data Science/ Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or other relevant graduate degree is a plus [5+ years]
