This role can sit in the following cities: Mississauga, Mount Hope



This role will be responsible for pushing the air network service performance to a higher level by managing airlines and indirectly managing multiple external airline service managers and regional service leads. Furthermore, this role provides day-to-day service management, customer service performance, and develops and provides Air Network reports and dashboards aligned with Purolator processes and KPI\'s.

Responsibilities

  • Offer support to improve the Service Performance (Service Plans, trade lane issues).
  • Lead the Service KPI development for the new Air Network strategy
  • Build contingency plans and support execution of irregular air ops (effective recovery activity)
  • Provide guidance and support to the field Operations teams
  • Provide Air Network trending and analysis for Monthly Business Reviews on Service which are reviewed at ECM and Board Level
  • Provide Strategic guidance on areas of Focus to improve the Customer Experience
  • Communicating internally and also externally with airlines on Air Network disruptions and impact and instigate actions to minimize the impact on Customer Experience
  • Plan and conduct coaching sessions with each airline including documentation and progress monitoring
  • Lead Package Visibility Program for Air Operations
  • Support the business with ad hoc data requests and project-based analysis requests
  • Ensure metrics and reports are frequently reviewed on usability and validity
Qualifications
  • Process-related education- engineering and/or logistics
  • Knowledge of Aviation operations procedures and KPI\'s
  • Over 5 years and including 7 years (progressive experience)
  • Experience in Salesforce, ERP applications (an asset)
  • Knowledge in lean six sigma/black belt training (an asset)
  • Transportation industry standards (an asset)
  • Experience in Qlikview, BI, SAP (for data sources and analytics) (an asset)
  • Knowledge of ECHO and Purolator network (an asset)
  • Knowledge of Purolator operations procedures and KPIs
  • Knowledge of Purolator services; strategic areas of experience should include COS/Premium/DG/SHS/cross-border/Air
  • Experience in business, logistics, transportation, management information systems, or a related field
  • Experience in business analytics, report completion, and presentation
  • Business Analytics capabilities
  • Microsoft Office suite (proficient with Excel)
  • Ability to drive Innovation
  • Customer Service Focused (Internal and External)
  • Courage to challenge oneself and others to continuously improve
