Cambrian College's Enrolment Services requires a full-time Manager, Admissions.
Duties and Responsibilities

Provide leadership in the execution of the College's admissions activities.
Oversee the development and continuous improvement of admissions processes and strategies that will help ensure the College meets its enrolment goals.
Direct the day-to-day operations of application and admissions services and processes for all students and all College programs, domestic and international, including: monitoring application and confirmation statistics; engaging stakeholders around areas of opportunity or concern and offering solutions; presenting data to influence stakeholders; and developing, implementing, and collaborating on strategic conversion activities.
Plan, develop, and administer effective admissions processes, including managing all communications related to the application and admission cycle.
Provide effective leadership and training to staff in the assessment of applicant records and oversee and resolve escalated, complex admissions issues and/or appeals.
Direct the overall operation and performance of processes and procedures, ensuring data quality used to receive and respond to College applications.
Promote and maintain strong collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and provide guidance and advice to academic and service-department leaders as required. Advise stakeholders on admission-related policies and procedures.
Research international educational systems to develop and enhance international admission policies and procedures.
Collaborate with various departments at the College on projects, agreements, and contracts, including developing and customizing admissions business processes for specific projects.
Contribute to the development of projections and predictive models for programs and provide leadership and expertise on projects and initiatives related to enrolment management.
Promote and represent the College's needs with the Ontario College Application Service (OCAS), which includes working with IT to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of transmission of applicant data.
Provide leadership on admissions-related projects and initiatives, including system upgrades.
Work with internal stakeholders to develop and enhance the Student Information System's functionality and participate on college and provincial committees to ensure system compatibility with internal and external environments
Qualifications

Required:
4-year degree in a discipline emphasizing quantitative analysis.

A copy of educational documents must be submitted with the application education completed outside of Canada, applicants are required to submit a WES or ICAS with their application) Five years of experience in a results-oriented environment focused on ensuring customer satisfaction with an emphasis on communication and project management.
Demonstrated strategic- and operational-planning experience with proven leadership, project management, and supervisory skills.
Ability to work with diverse stakeholders to develop policies, strategies, and procedures.
Ability to analyze quantitative data, prepare reports based on that data, and talk about applicant and application data to different audiences.
Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
Proven ability to communicate (in writing and verbally) at an advanced level.
Sound knowledge of Cambrian College and Ministry admissions-related policies.
Demonstrated leadership skills and experience building teams and motivating staff to perform at a high level.
Demonstrated negotiation and collaboration skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders across the College.
Strong analytical, organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills, and the ability to maintain complex operational demands and meet deadlines.
Creativity, flexibility, and the ability to conceptualize and propose new initiatives for improving efficiency of current service and/or operations.
Additional Assets/Preferred:
Experience with a Student Information System (preferably Banner).
International education experience (knowledge of immigration rules, cultural differences, and foreign education systems).
Experience with and knowledge of registrar operations, academic policies, and procedures (preferably in admissions).
Experience working within a unionized environment.
