We are seeking a talented and passionate Makeup Artist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in makeup application and customer service, with the ability to create stunning looks that enhance our clients' natural beauty. As a Makeup Artist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional guest experiences while showcasing your artistry and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

Provide professional makeup application services for various occasions, including special events, photoshoots, and everyday looks. Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene in all makeup application processes. Engage with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable products and services. Demonstrate product usage through effective product demos to educate clients on application techniques. Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries. Promote retail sales by upselling products that complement the services provided. Stay updated on the latest beauty trends, techniques, and products to offer clients the best advice. Provide additional services such as body waxing, hair styling, eyelash extensions, nail care, and guest services as needed.

Experience

Proven experience as a Makeup Artist or in a related role within the beauty industry. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for clients. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs. Background in retail sales is preferred, with demonstrated success in upselling products. Knowledge of sanitation practices and safety protocols in makeup application is essential. Familiarity with various makeup techniques, tools, and products is required; additional skills in body waxing, hair styling, or eyelash extensions are a plus. Pay: $15.00-$80.94 per hour
