Overview


We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through effective maintenance and repair of equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background, experience in facilities maintenance, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities



Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure optimal performance. Supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Troubleshoot issues related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automated systems. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules. Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications to equipment. Apply electrical knowledge to diagnose and repair electrical systems within the facility. Read and interpret schematics to understand equipment layouts and operational functions. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management.

Qualifications



Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field, with strong mechanical knowledge. Supervising experience is preferred, demonstrating leadership abilities in a team setting. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their applications in manufacturing environments. Proficient in using CMMS for effective maintenance management. Welding skills are a plus, along with electrical experience for troubleshooting purposes. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail when working with schematics and technical documents. A commitment to safety practices and maintaining high standards of quality in all maintenance activities. Pay: $15.93-$30.00 per hour
