Job Description
Our client in Estevan, Saskatchewan is seeking a Building Maintenance worker to maintain their office building through regular repairs, preventative maintenance, and groundskeeping. This is a part\xe2\x80\x90time position, Monday \xe2\x80\x93 Friday, 16 to 32 hours per week, the contract is for 1 year and can renew each year. Responsibilities:
- Complete and document routine inspections of premises.
- Groundskeeping, minor yard maintenance, grass mowing, etc.
- Make adjustments and minor repairs such as plumbing, painting, and drywall.
- Remove snow and ice from entrances and walkway areas.
- Organize and assist with office and equipment moves.
- Provide backup coverage for warehouse personnel.
- Pick\xe2\x80\x90up or delivery service as required.
- Coordination and oversight of onsite Contractors as needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- WHMIS training is an asset.
- Minimum 3 years of related experience.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, heating, and fire safety systems.
- Ability to paint and repair minor drywall damage.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Comfortable with basic computer and smartphone operation.
- Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license.
- A criminal background check will be required.
