Benpro Technologies Corporation, Canada's leading pipe bending company is seeking a Facilities and Operations Maintenance Worker.
Role:
The Facility and Operations Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on all manufacturing equipment. The repairs and maintenance checks that are performed, are to ensure equipment is running to manufacturer's specification which will allow for optimal performance and reduce downtown.
Additional duties will included participation in our Health & Safety program, and adherence to our Quality Management System as well as routine housekeeping.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Mechanical knowledge and experience with mobile and stationary equipment
Ability for perform quality work
Attention to detail
Must be punctual and dependable
Positive and cooperative attitude
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Ability to learn
Ability to assemble and disassemble equipment
Valid driver's license
Duties & Responsibilities:
Wear all require Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Understand and follow all company safety rules and safe work procedures
Follow pre-planned maintenance schedule for all equipment
Monitor daily inspection of all mobile equipment and carry out repairs as needed
Assist in scheduling equipment preventive maintenance with department lead hands to minimize impact on production
Perform a variety of maintenance tasks related to the operations of the plant
Record all completed maintenance activities in provided logbooks
Maintain a clean and organized work area
This position calls for a keen eye for attention to detail and may come with a bit of a learning curve. Benpro Technologies Corporation offers a great benefits package after three months of continuous employment. This position will mainly be from Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm with possibility of overtime (not guaranteed).
