Shift : 12h shifts 1month nights 1month days and 1 weekend every 2 weeks

General Summary
The primary function will be to assist the engineering and maintenance supervisor in all activities related to the upkeep, prevention, maintenance and documentation of both equipment and systems.

Assist the supervisor in all activities related to the upkeep, prevention, maintenance and documentation of both equipment and systems to minimize downtime;
Maintain an efficient, clean and safe work environment in accordance with the FedEx Supply Chain and CNESST customer standards;
Respond to building maintenance calls in a timely manner;
Ensure the general maintenance of the building;
Complete various monitoring and control reports as required;
Support other professional bodies when required;
Perform all other tasks and responsibilities as requested by management.

Physical/Cognitive Requirements

Successfully completed the FedEx Supply Chain's probationary period;
One to two years of work experience in an industrial environment
Excellent performance and safety record in current role (no disciplinary action or absenteeism issues);
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electricity and general industrial maintenance;
Ability to maintain and repair building equipment;
Knowledge of WHMIS standards;
Ability to work in a computerized environment and maintain a checklist of (batteries / chargers);
Ability to operate moving motorized equipment;
Particular attention to detail and great sense of customer service;
Ability to work in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, standing for long periods of time and working at heights;
Verbal and written bilingualism;
Day or evening schedule.
