Job Info: The Employee shall be responsible for day-to-day maintenance and repair tasks relating to Red Sands Properties Inc.\xe2\x80\x99s clients and residents. The Employee reports to Red Sands Properties Inc.\xe2\x80\x99s Director of Maintenance. Job Title: Maintenance Worker Hours: Monday-to-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm, some weekends and evenings, as required Start Date: ASAP Pay: $20-$25/hour plus overtime opportunities Job type: Permanent with 3-month probation period Vacation: 2 weeks paid vacation or 4% vacation pay Location: Various locations across PEI, with Charlottetown being hub Job duties: General maintenance and renovations skills such as framing, flooring, painting, dry walling, seam filling, etc. Basic Plumbing including changing of faucets, toilets and shower heads Electrical work such as: light fixtures, bulbs, switches and receptacles Perform minor fixes such as broken locks, patching holes in walls, touch up paint and tenant turnover requirements Perform scheduled maintenance tasks like checking gutters, oil tanks, sump pumps, etc. upon request Shovelling and salting walkways and stairs. Assist or lead in cleaning out units or excessive garbage buildup on properties Performing garbage runs Picking up, delivering and setting up appliances Painting and basic seam filling Assist in building decks and basic carpentry work Experience needed: 3+ years of relevant handyman or carpentry experience is required Requirements: Must have valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license Must have a truck or van (will be paid mileage on all travel) Must provide a clean and current criminal record background check Only candidates demonstrating the experience and the requirements listed above on their resume will be considered for this position.
