The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintenance of all bakery and packaging equipment. Description of Duties and Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Maintain, repair, troubleshoot and test all equipment, machinery and components in accordance with established S.O.P\xe2\x80\x99s, GMP\xe2\x80\x99s and Health & Safety guidelines. \xc2\xb7 Identify parts/machines that need new parts or require replacement. \xc2\xb7 Must be organized and aware of all mechanical needs in order to help production reduce waste (must be proactive). \xc2\xb7 Maintain the Chemical Control Log for food grade and non food grade chemicals. \xc2\xb7 Inspect all equipment to ensure proper functioning and ensure conditions do not compromise food safety or Team Member safety. \xc2\xb7 Perform preventative maintenance checks and repairs on frequency prescribed. \xc2\xb7 Ensure that the premises do not compromise food safety or team member safety. \xc2\xb7 Ensure that all services and utilities meet prescribed and regulating requirements for food safety. \xc2\xb7 Participate on the Joint Health & Safety Committee as needed. \xc2\xb7 Job duties are not limited to the above mentioned, applicant must be flexible and willing to help out when and wherever needed. \xc2\xb7 Always work safely, keep work area clean and tidy, wear proper PPE, ensure product meets proper quality and food safety standard and work to GMP rules. \xc2\xb7 Must be trained on food allergens. . Any other duties as assigned Skills and Experience Requirements: . Requires 2 years of hands on experience in a manufacturing environment . Relevant certificates and diploma\'s is a plus Working Conditions . A manufacturing, warehouse and office environment . Team based atmosphere . Moderate noise and temperature level .
